Fantastic Landscape and the Renaissance

The exhibition is the first of its kind in New York, which presents Liu Dan’s works in the contenxt of its original European paint of reference. Liu Dan’s painting is exhibited alongside the original Schongauer print, as well as a small selection of Old Master works on paper from the Renaissance onwards, all of which were owned by artists at some point in their history.

This is Liu Dan’s first show with the gallery. It is on view at Nicholas Hall, 17 East 76th Street, New York from 13 September – 23 November 2018. A catalogue featuring an original essay by Robert Harrist Jr. is published in conjunction with the exhibition.  ❖
