Nicholas Hall is pleased to present its inaugural exhibition at TEFAF Maastricht at Stand 342. We will present a core group of tronies — a type of character study that emerged from the works of Rembrandt and his milieu — led by a newly discovered major early painting by Jan Lievens and another by the extraordinary and elusive artist known as the Monogrammist I.S.
